Why is there a difference in upgrade fee from my friend/coworker who just received the same breast pump?

All insurances have a predetermined allowable rate for breast pumps. The upgrade fees can vary by insurance providers due to their contracted allowable rates. Therefore, the upgrade fees can differ based on insurance.

Will my insurance reimburse me for the upgrade fee?

Unfortunately, most insurance plans will only cover breast pumps up to their contracted allowable rate. We suggest reaching out to your insurance, as coverage may vary.

What is "date of service"?

Date of service is the date when a patient was provided medical services. Your date of service with Aeroflow Breastpumps is the date your item was shipped.

When will Aeroflow send the claim for my item to insurance?

Aeroflow Breastpumps submits claims to insurance after the item has shipped. We will submit the date the item shipped to your insurance company as the date of service.
